That year, Hrithik Roshan also had come with it’s debut movie “Kaho Na Pyar Hai” and new actress in the movie Ameesha Patel. Very few know that Kareena Kapoor was supposed to debut with Hrithik in the movie but because of some unknown reasons Kareena couldn’t debut and the movie went to Ameesha.

And at the Lux awards 2000, Ameesha received the debut of the year award whereas Kareena was conferred with face of the year award. But looking at the present circumstances it looks that Kareena is only having the last laugh.
