Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen with Shahid Kapoor in upcoming film ‘Udta Punjab’ sent a wave of joy among their fans. But it was later revealed much to the dismay of the fans that the beginning will have Punjabi actor cum singer Diljit Dosanjh opposite her. Also, that Haider actor Shahid Kapoor will be cast opposite the ‘Shaandaar’ beauty Alia Bhatt.

Much was speculated about Shahid and Kareena’s role in the neo-noir drama thriller film. Finally, Kareena has opened up for her role in the upcoming release that is directed by Abhishek Chaubey and produced by Phantom Films and Balaji Motion Pictures.

‘Udta Punjab’ will release on June 17.
