Recent releases like Paan Singh Tomar, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Neerja, all these movies prove that there is a big chunk of audience who loves such kind of cinema. In this year itself, there is over 6 biopics lined up. At latest, Karan Johar says that he wants Alia Bhatt to play Twinkle Khanna’s role in his biopic.

Many who know the relationship of Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar know that KJo takes Alia Bhatt as his daughter. He launched her as the debutant in Student Of The Year in 2012 and now she is one of the leading actresses giving bavk to back hits.Recently, she went on to win the best actress award for her role in Udta Punjab. She has proved her worth in acting and hardly any of her movies have seen the debacle at the Box Office.
In the recent award event, Alia Bhatt was honored with Outstanding Talent of the Year award. The award was given by none other than Karan Johar himself. In an interview with a leading daily, Karan Johar said,
“She is my second daughter and third child.”
To this Alia Bhatt jokingly replied that she would love to play Karan’s mother Hiroo Johar in his biopic. To which Karan quips,
“You aren’t Sindhi enough.” Karan also stated that she could instead play Twinkle Khanna in his biopic.
