Varun, who is essaying the lead role in the film, is all excited about it. He said,
“We are releasing the film on Holi. It’s my first festive release so I am very excited. We never get these days (festive dates). I will start from Holi and then move to Diwali, Eid.”
Interestingly, last year Raees and Sultan was about to clash at the Box-Office during the eid. But due to unavoidable circumstances, Raees released date was being postponed to January 25, 2017. Maybe, Raees makers didn’t want that their film to be clash with Dabangg Salman Khan’s Sultan. As they are aware that Eid is owned by Salman Khan only!
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film also stars Alia Bhatt and Gauahar Khan in titular roles. Badrinath Ki Dulhania is all set to hit the theaters on March 10, 2017.
Overall, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt is all set to entertain us in this Holi!
