Sequel to a movie that gave Bollywood three stars Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra, Student of The Year 2 failed to live up to its expectations. Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, and Tara Sutaria starrer failed to attract audience owing to the severe criticism it received from fans as well as critics. People have been trolling SOTY 2 since the time it released.
It has been more than a week since SOTY 2 was released. The bad words of mouths have shown effects on the box office collection. It would not be wrong to say that the movie failed to resonate with the audience. However, the movie was able to do decent business at the box office despite the poor reviews.
