The actor made his Bollywood debut with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon in 2015. His fans have been waiting to see the popular comedian in another film.

Firangi is set in the year 1920. Kapil plays Manga in the film. In the opening scene, Manga is seen telling a story to a little girl.
