Kapil Sharma Did It Again! Made Akshay Wait For 5 Hours For “Firangi” Promotion!

Kapil Sharma’s career saw a couple of ups and downs and the situation has been pretty hopeless after the TRPs of the comedy show “The Kapil Sharma Show” kept on falling down that has finally resulted in the show going off air. This has happened due to Kapil’s health issues that he faced after Sunil Grover’s exit from “The Kapil Sharma Show”. Pretty often he has cancelled shoots and celebrities like Big B, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar returned from the sets as he wasn’t there for shooting! Undoubtedly, this is not at all a positive gesture but Kapil did that again!

Yes, you have read it perfectly right! Kapil has failed to turn up for the shooting on the sets of “The Great Laughter Challenge” and made Akshay Kumar and his team wait for 5 hours!!

The most important fact is that he should be present there for the promotions of his own forthcoming film “Firangi”. Earlier he has appeared on the grand finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs and the most controversial TV Reality Show Bigg Boss 11 where he had lots of fun.

As per reports, Kapil’s reporting time was 11 am, however, he didn’t show up till 3 pm. The team has called Kapil plenty of times asking when he’s going to turn up as Sajid, Akshay, and Shreyas were already on the sets.

As per the source, “Akshay even graciously said that if Kapil is late, they will shoot some other bits and when the comedian comes he can join them. The rolling time was 11 am, but even by 3 pm, Kapil did not arrive. Finally, he just cancelled it.”

The source also added, “Kapil gave a go-ahead last night and the shoot was planned for today. The team waited for a while but seeing no trace of Kapil started the acts in the hope that he could join later on. His team later in the afternoon informed that Kapil wasn’t keeping well and it won’t be possible for him to join the shoot. Though the team has been left disappointed, knowing Kapil’s health concerns, we wish he recovers soon.”

During the launch of trailer “Firangi”, Kapil spoke about the difficulties that he encountered in the recent past. Here’s what he told the reporters,

“I could not step on the stage to perform and would cancel the shoot. I suffered from anxiety and drank myself silly. I would stay locked up in the office with my pet dog. People stopped coming on the show and I went off the radar.”

Considering the fact that he rose to fame with “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge”, his callousness towards the shooting is not at all an applauding gesture. If he wasn’t well, he could have informed that he’ll not be able to come.

We wish for Kapil’s recovery and he doesn’t have to cancel his shoot!
