The ‘Cocktail’ director Homi Adajania was in talks with the ‘Queen’ diva Kangana for his next project. He had even narrated the script to Kangana and they were very likely to start working on it. For the first time, Kangana and Sushant Singh Rajput’s pair was going to be seen together on silver screen. However, due to date issues Kangana had to say a ‘no’ to Homi.
According to a source, “Homi (Adajania) has narrated the (story) idea to Kangana (Ranaut) and she is keen to work with him. But she is already committed to Hansal Mehta’s film after ‘Rangoon’. And the dates are clashing. But they have promised to work with each other in the future.”
Apparently, Homi has already roped in Sushant Singh Rajput and Irrfan Khan for the untitled film.
The Queen actress is presently shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon alongside Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. The 28-year-old actress will be doing Hansal Mehta’s film that is reportedly titled Simran and Ketan Mehta’s movie on warrior-queen Rani Laxmibai.
