Kangana seeks Sanjay Raut’s ‘apology for hurting’ her self respect with abusive remarks
The straight forward and speaking her mind kinda badass Bollywood diva, Kangana Ranaut surely can’t take anything on her self respect and the ‘Queen’ definitely knows how to give it back to the offenders. Kangana’s recent fight with Maharashtra government had landed the actress in a verbal spat with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, who reportedly had made an offensive remark against the ‘Manikarnika’ actress after she had compared Mumbai with Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
After which the actress didn’t only witness a massive online backlash but her Pali Hill office was also demolished by state-controlled BMC, causing her INR 2 crore damage. Where the actress has handled her damage by slapping a notice against civic body for compensation in High Court, the actress now seems to repair damage done to her image and self respect, and in order to this she reportedly in her media interview sought Sanjay Raut’s apologies for hurting her self respect with his personal remarks.
In her interview, Kangana also opened up over Shiv Sena run state government’s alleged ‘politically motivated’ vengeful demolition and the offensive remarks hurled against her post her statement against the Mumbai Police. The actress has, however, clarified that she never attacked Mumbai Police but was addressing the flaws in the administration of Uddhav Thackeray led Maharashtra government. “I want to question Uddhav Thackeray that while he has inherited Bala Saheb Thackeray’s properties, power, Shiv Sena and people’s loyalty, they have left behind his ideologies. So, who is muftkhor? I have been using my hard-earned money for the betterment of the country, the state of Maharashtra and have always made donations, how can I be muftkhor?”
For the unversed, Kangana’s office was razed by the BMC after the actress criticized Mumbai administration under Uddhav Thackeray while taking her stand on newly discovered drug angle linked to Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, and said that she feared the Mumbai Police more than what she called ‘movie mafia’. Which started a war of words against Maharashtra administration and Kangana.
Being critical of her comment state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said without naming Kangana that who think Mumbai isn’t safe for them (to live in), they have no right to live in Mumbai or Maharashtra. Which didn’t go down well with the actress and she went on to an extent to compare Mumbai with ‘Pakistan Occupied Kashmir’ and then Taliban and then came the day when after announcing her arrival in Mumbai on September 9 Kangana came to see the political vendetta of Uddhav Thackeray led government, Shiv Sena which through its civic body, BMC, brought her bungalow to the ground as a repay for Kangana’s fearless fight against state administration.
Reacting to which, Kangana had said, “Maharashtra Government and their goons’ have barged into her Mumbai office, and have begun breaking it down ‘illegally.’ Sharing a picture of police officials outside her office, Kangana wrote, ‘As I am all set for Mumbai Darshan on my way to the airport, the Maha government and their goons are at my property all set to illegally break it down, go on!”
