‘Nepotism’ has once again become the topic of discussion after Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan mocked Kangana Ranaut and said in unison, “Nepotism Rocks’ at the IIFA 2017 in New York.
It so happened that Kangana Ranaut was in one of the episodes of Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan Season 5. The actress grilled Karan in the show and accused him of ‘intolerant’ towards outsiders and a ‘flag bearer of nepotism’. Since then the word has grabbed attention.
Recently at the IIFA 2017, actor Varun Dhawan, Saif Ali Khan and Karan Johar took a dig at Kangana Ranaut’s statement. Three of them started a debate on nepotism on the stage. Saif Ali Khan said “You are here because of your Papa,” to which Varun Dhawan replied, “And you’re here because of your mummy.” Karan Johar then added, “I am here because of my Papa.”
After that, to add fuel to the burning topic Apurva Asrani also accused Kangana Ranaut of nepotism. He tweeted, “I hired my brother as addnl writer on my new film. #Kangana hired her sister as manager & now promotes her brother. All guilty of #nepotism?”
Rangoli then came in support of her sister Kangana saying that Kangana helped and motivated her a lot at her bad times and it’s because of Kangana only she has gained confidence. Rangoli is an acid attack survivor. She took to Twitter and slammed Apurva in a series of tweets.
