Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan to pair up for Sujoy Ghosh’s next!

Not a long time ago we told you about Saif Ali Khan being roped in by Sujoy Ghosh for his next film, which is an official cinematic adaptation of the Japanese novel, The Devotion of Suspect X. And now it is learnt that Kangana Ranaut too has come on-board for this project.
Saif plays a mathematics professor, who helps his neighbour (which will be played by Kangana) who is accused of murdering her husband. The film does not have a romantic track, instead the two characters share an uncomfortable equation. Together they try to throw off the cop who’s trying hard to catch them. But who is playing the cop, you ask? Well, contrary to rumours, the cop is not being played by the Pakistani actor Fawad Khan but Vidyut Jammwal.
Incidentally, Saif and Kangana had been paired opposite each other in Reema Kagti’s love story. But due to financial issues between the producers and Saif, he opted out of the film. And since Reema’s film was taking long to start, Kangana decided to opt out of her film as well and gave her dates to Sujoy for his film.
Apparently, the Queen actress was approached by Sujoy with the script despite the fact that she opted out of his Durga Rani Singh. Kangy was really impressed with the plot because of which she gave her nod to play the female lead.
Now that Sujoy has locked the cast, he is all set to start shooting his film from April this year with both Saif and Kangana, who are truly destined to work together this time.
Surely, Sujoy has managed a casting coup of sorts and I can’t wait to see this fresh pair on the silver screen. Mutual thoughts anybody?
