Kangana Ranaut learning Punjabi accent for her next
According to a leading daily, Kangana Ranaut is gearing up to play an intense character of a Punjabi woman in Omung Kumar’s biopic based on Sarabjit Singh, is scheduled to undergo accent training. We hear she will spend some time in Punjab and interact with the locals to get a grip on their dialect and mannerisms. “You can’t do justice to any character unless you understand its nuances. The biopic on Sarabjit is a sensitive issue and I want to ensure that I do complete justice to it,” she said.
Kangana is not keen to divulge any details of her meeting with Sarabjit’s sister. The director is keen that the two women exchange notes before the film takes off. Word is that Kangana will also meet others in Sarabjit’s family during her stay in Punjab.
The National Award winning actress said that she’s very touched to see the industry celebrate her success. “Happiness always brings people close. Be it Deepika Padukone or Priyanka Chopra, every actor has made an attempt to reach out and congratulate me. Their faith and love for me means a lot,” Kangana said.
