“No, I Don’t Have Balls I Have A Vagina” Kangana Ranaut Gives Another Explosive Interview!
Kangana Ranaut is currently in full swing for the promotional activities of her next film titled “Simaran”. The actress has already become the talk of the town when she appeared on Aap Ki Adalat. She has started lots of feuds in the industry.
Now, Kangana gave an interview with Anupama Chopra. In the beginning of the interview, Anupama made an agreement that she won’t discuss her legal trouble with Aditya Pancholi or controversies around her and Hrithik Roshan relationship or her trouble with the director and writer. The interview will be focused on acting.
The whole agreement went into dust when she started talking about feminism and her journey in the industry. She said, “I really pushed this angle of Simran being a woman who really enjoys having sex, I felt it was important for our nation to come to terms (with the fact that) women want to have sex.”
She said that she forcefully get this thing added in the movie, as her character doesn’t have any problem in picking boys. She said, “(Simran) doesn’t have shame in picking up boys, she’s single, she’s divorced, she’s dated many men, and she takes great pride in that.”
Kangana then started talking about feminism and women empowerment. She felt the women have not given due respect they deserve. She said,
We’ve not been able to give our women respect and comfort with their sexuality,”
Talking about the same, she talked about the reaction of people on the set, when she got injured. For your information, she was injured on the set of her next film Manikarnika. She said, “A lot of people from my crew came and said ‘Oh you’ve got ba**s, you’ve got ba**s, you’ve got ba**s”
She replied,
“No I don’t have balls, I have a vagina. Why can’t anyone say that word? It’s much cooler to say ‘You’ve got ovaries”.
She further added,
“Our sexuality is taken away from us, bringing it back to her film, and the character she plays in it. “I want us to be free of this brainwashing.”
Everything was going as usual, but she again started complaining about the industry while talking about the equality in the film industry. When asked about her relationship with a director, she said that she is fed of taking directions from the directors with ego issues.
She said,
“I’m fed up of taking directions from ego maniacs, I remember this director who used to come to me every morning and tell me when to look down and when to look up.”
Talking about another director, she told that one more director came to her and asked that if she has any idea, she should discuss with him only in the van not on the set, as crew members respect him. Kangana blamed everything on male ego.
Simran is an upcoming drama film directed by Hansal Mehta. The movie features Kangana Ranaut in the title role. The movie also features Mark Justice, Soham Shah, Hiten Kumar, Manu Narayan and Rupinder Nagra in important roles. The movie is slated to release on 15th September 2017.
