Kangana announces her return to Mumbai on Sept 9; Says ‘Kisi ke baap mein himmat hai toh rok le’
It seems like Kangana Ranaut has become the favourite child of controversies. Always keeping her shields and armours prepared, the ‘Queen’ of Bollywood is anytime ready to launch her scathing attacks on the people and the practices she doesn’t approve of. Her recent tweet comparing Mumbai to ‘Pakistan Occupied Kashmir’ has irked many and earned the actress a lot of backlash.
Evoking strong reactions from every corner of the country; including many celebs like Renuka Shahane, Riteish Deshmukh, Sonu Sood and among many others, the actress has now openly challenged her opponents by announcing her return to Mumbai on September 9 in a very filmy manner.
Taking to her Twitter handle, Kangana wrote, “I see many people are threatening me to not come back to Mumbai so I have now decided to travel to Mumbai this coming week on 9th September, I will post the time when I land at the Mumbai airport, kisi ke baap mein himmat hai toh rok le.”
Kangana wrote this as she retweeted BJP MP Parvesh Sahib Singh’s comment on Mumbai stating that ‘the city is not someone’s personal property’. To note, the ‘Manikarnika’ actress is currently in her hometown, Manali with her family.
The actress had, on Thursday, backfired on actress Renuka Shahane’s tweet, asking the latter ‘if she is were a blood thirsty vulture waiting to pounce on her and get a piece of her (Kangana) meat’.
Reportedly, what started it all was Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut’s tweet in response to Kangana’s jibe on Mumbai administration under Raut over the drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged suicide case. The actress had went to at length claiming that she made the city police force feared more than the “movie mafia”.
Following which the leader in party’s mouthpiece ‘Saamana’ questioned her continuous negative tweets on Mumbai Police and urged ‘kindly requests Kangana not to come to Mumbai.’ After which the actress responded to his remarks by calling it ‘open threats’ and that Mumbai has now become like Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.
Taking to her official twitter account, Kangana wrote, “Sanjay Raut Shiv Sena leader has given me an open threat and asked me not to come back to Mumbai, after Aazadi graffitis in Mumbai streets and now open threats, why Mumbai is feeling like Pakistan occupied Kashmir?”
Meanwhile, Kangana is living with her family in her hometown, Manali and she often share the glimpses of her life there. Now, after her ‘Mumbai new POK’ row Kangana has announced her return to the city on September 9. Talking about her movies, Kangana will be seen in a biopic ’Thalaivi’ playing the late actress and politician, J Jayalalithaa. The actress also has ‘Dhaakad’ and ‘Tejas’ in her kitty.
