The entire Bollywood family was taken aback when news of tensions and rifts between the two started spreading in the film industry. Several efforts were made by Salman Khan and Amrita Arora as well to get the pair back together, but their efforts failed. The damage had been done too badly to be reversed.
However, the reason for their separation is not know, but rumors and speculations of all kinds started doing rounds on the Social Media. One of the reasons was that Malaika was unhappy with Arbaaz’s financial stability and she has been single-handedly looking after her son’s expenses and is also paying for his exorbitant school fees. The other reason stated was the apparent closeness of Malaika Arora with Arjun Kapoor.
