Yes, you heard that right! The WWE star John Cena is a married man now and he held hands of his long time girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh for this life journey in a secret ceremony held in Tampa, Florida.
The two were dating each other for quite a long time and were first publicly spotted in Vancouver, Canada towards early 2019 when the wrestling sensation was made his first public appearance with Shay at the New York Premiere of ‘Playing With Fire’. Since then, the duo was all over the internet for their relationship reports and rumours were rife for quite some time that the pair got engaged especially after Shay was spotted sporting a big diamond ring.
As per the reports, the couple had a private ceremony at John’s hometown and got married on October 12. The ‘Fast & Furious 9’ actor and Shay, who works as a product manager in Vancouver, started dating after John and his former WWE wrestler girlfriend Nikki Bella called their six years relationship quits in 2018. This is Cena’s second marriage as he was earlier married to his college sweetheart Elizabeth Huberdeau for 3-year that is from 2009 to 2012. As of now, While Nikki is now happily engaged to her ‘Dancing with the Star’ pro-partner, Artem Chigvinstev, and even recently welcomed a baby boy with him, John fell hard for Shay Shariatzadeh and married her.
Meanwhile, apart from ‘Fast & Furious 9’, John will also be seen in ‘The Suicide Squad’ alongside stars like; Margot Robbie, Idris Elba and Viola Davis. ‘F9’, which also stars Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez, is scheduled to hit the theatres on May 28, 2021, whereas ‘The Suicide Squad’ is slated to release on August 4, 2021.
