Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s New Twitter Account Also Suspended

Bollywood singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya is a big trouble over his remark on JNU student-activist Shehla Rashid. Soon after his tweet, his official Twitter handle was suspended and within a week, he again back on Twitter with another handle. But the twist in the story is, his new Twitter handle also being suspended within 24 hours.

All these dramas started when JNU student-activist Shehla Rashid has pointed the finger on BJP party over sex scandals. In reply to her, Abhijeet said, “There is a rumor she took money in advance for two hours and didn’t satisfy the client. Big racket.” After this, a group of netizens has filed a complaint to Twitter and post that Abhijeet’s official handle was suspended.


Within a week, Abhijeet was back on Twitter with a new handle name @singerabhijeet on Monday (May 29). When he was back on Twitter, he said, “People are trying to suppress my voice. I am against those who try to speak against the nation and the Indian Army. This is my new Twitter account. Until the time my verified account is not active, please follow me on this Twitter account. All other accounts by my name are fake and are trying to malign my reputation.”
