Recently Jacqueline Fernandez refused to share screen space with alleged boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra. The two are rumored to be in a relationship since ‘Gentleman’ days. Their on-screen chemistry became talk of the town. Their closeness were quite evident during the promotion of the film too. To back this, Previously we reported that Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt broke up on sad note and two have moved on in their respective life. Alia is rumored to be dating Ranbir Kapoor and Sidharth’s alleged girlfriend is Jacqueline Fernandez.
Just like any other celebrity, Jacqueline Fernandez and Sidharth too never accepted their relationship publicly. They always denied their dating rumors. As time passed, their dating rumor has started to fade and that is when Jacqueline was offered to do a valentine ad with Sidharth she turned it down as she didn’t wanted to add fuel to the fire.
Interestingly, in a recent interview to a leading magazine, Jacqueline opened up about her equation with Sidharth and said, “These rumors started when Sid and I signed A Gentleman. I’d ask my friends why we are being linked together. Do we give off that vibe? Have we indicated it somewhere? Is it working unintentionally somewhere in the marketing of the film? I just couldn’t get it. Every time I’ve been with Sid, we’ve been normal together. So, I don’t know where it was coming from. If I’m dating someone, I don’t need to hide it from anyone. I’m not a 12-year-old who has to hide her relationships. I’m a grown-up girl. If I was dating someone it wouldn’t be a big deal for me anymore. I would honestly admit to it.”
“Rumors have fizzled out now that the film’s over. I guess it was just hype around the film. Give me the benefit of doubt; I’d talk about a relationship. I’ve always been an open book. But Sid will always remain a close friend.” added Jacqueline.
