The most awaited trailer of Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer movie ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ is out and it is a compilation of all the mini trailers that have come earlier. Seeing the trailer we get a fair idea of the story. The movie is about a tour guide, Harinder Singh Nehra aka Harry who goes to Europe to become a tour guide. He meets Sejal (Anushka Sharma) whose engagement ring gets lost and she is on a mission to find it. Harry is Punjabi and Sejal a Gujarati girl and they are poles apart.
Anushka has very well mastered the Gujarati dialect and their chemistry is as evergreen as their first movie ‘Rab Ne Bana De Jodi’. From the trailer, we can make out that during their tour both of them eventually fall in love with each other. We are all aware of the fact that Imtiaz Ali has a unique storytelling and basically most of his movies are travelogue yet all have different stories.
Shahrukh Khan was not present at the trailer launch event as he is holidaying in LA but he has joined the event via video conference. This is Anushka and Shah Rukh’s third movie together after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
Jab Harry Met Sejal landed in controversies when its second mini trailer was out. In the trailer, Anushka Sharma was seen saying a dialogue where she uses the word ‘intercourse’ and after that Pahlaj Nihalani, director of CBFC disapproved of its airing on television. Also, he put a condition that he would allow the release of the trailer if the word ‘intercourse’ is deleted from the trailer. After that came the ‘Butterfly’ song controversy. But after lots of hurdles, finally, the trailer released today and we are happy to see it.
As the trailer is out, we can’t wait to watch the movie. It is slated to release on August 4th, 2017.
