Aamir Khan’s Dangal Gets Lesser Screen Count Than Salman’s Sultan

One of the most awaited movies of 2016 is finally going to release this Friday. Aamir Khan’s Dangal is certainly one of those movies that you make you glued to your seats tell the very end. It has the much-needed buzz, thanks to some amazing songs and the powerful trailer. At latest, we got a hold of the screen count of Dangal, where we find some interesting facts that prove that Dangal might not cross the lifetime collection of Sultan.

Dangal 4 Though Sultan and Dangal are based on wrestling, but the major difference in this two is their story. Sultan is based on a fictional character while Dangal is based on Mahavir Singh Phogat. The true story of Dangal might build a good connection with the audience but due to lesser screen count, it may miss the bullseye. Here I mean, Dangal got a screen count of 4,300 which is lesser than Sultan 4350. The screen count details have been revealed by the Trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who tweeted, “Dangal screen count… India: over 4,300 screens Overseas: close to 1000 screens Widest release in North America, UAE-GCC, UK, Australia.” On the overseas market too, Dangal only got 1000 screens which are lesser than Sultan’s 1100 screens. Interestingly, Salman Khans’ Prem Ratan Dhan Payo had more screens (4500) than Dangal.
