IPL is considered as a festival in India. As most of the matches had nail-biting finishes, some big teams with renowned players were eliminated which was unexpected to many of us. The four teams to reach play-offs are Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals. The top 2 teams CSK and SRH will play against each other on May 22 at Wankhede stadium, Mumbai. The 1st Eliminator will be played between KKR vs RR on 23rd May at Eden’s Garden Kolkata. The winner of the eliminator one will play against the loser of the Qualifier 1 on May 25 at Eden Gardens Kolkata. The winners of qualifier 1 and qualifier 2 will play against each other for the title of IPL 2018.
The Cricket informer conducted a poll on Twitter asking ‘who will win’ the title of IPL 2018.
Chennai Super Kings got the highest number of votes i.e. 43% as the team is making a comeback after years also the team has big names such as MS Dhoni, S Raina, DJ Bravo, Shane Watson.
Kolkata Knight Riders got 27% of votes, the new captain Dinesh Karthik is playing with young talents and is turning out to be good for the team.
Sunrisers Hyderabad led by Williamson is known to have the best bowling line up in the IPL. Along with explosive opening pair, this team sits on the top of the table.
Rajasthan Royal got 6% of fan votes considered to be least favorites have crawled their way up into the table Thanks to Jos Buttler who scored over 50 runs in 5 innings in trot.
