Yes, the Bengali beauty Konkona Sen Sharma and her actor-husband Ranvir Shorey’s married life have come to an end after five years of marriage. The attraction between them gradually increased. They were also seen in public many a times. The couple got to know each other during the filming of Rajat Kapoor’s “Mixed Doubles” in which they both have featured as stars. Well while shooting the movie “Mixed Doubles” the couple fell in love and felt something special for each other. It was the same film that helped them to find each other suitable as life-partners and finally they were engaged and started off on a live-in. As they both were leading Bollywood stars, their work pressure were also heavy and hefty. In the midst of extreme shooting schedules and very high work pressures, a reel marriage and family life helped the love-birds to come closer to each other. The couple spends most of the time with each other in spite of heavy work schedules. Also they were rather more secretive about their relationship and never open up about their relationship in public. The two of them were often seen together but they just called themselves engaged. But the keen eye of paparazzi was always on them and they were never tuned out by the media. After spending more time with each other the couple decided to get married and they tie know in 2010 in a very simple way. Their marriage was a ‘family-only’ event with no hush-hush. They broke the news to media two days later on Twitter after their marriage. Within a month of their marriage, there were rumors about Konkona being Pregnant started making rounds and the rumors turned out to be true when the couple welcomed their first child, a baby-boy on 15 March 2011. The child was named as “Haroon” Unique name indeed! Well in 2013, there were rumors buzzing around that the couple were living apart and that their marriage was on rocks. While both Ranvir and Konkona weren’t spilling the beans. It was then when a publication held interview with Konkona where she quoted as saying “I’m a single mother.” Later, it seemed all is well between the couple when they signed a movie together. Finally, the couple officially announced their separation news on social media. They took Twitter to announce this news. The parents to a four-year old son posted on their respective Twitter handles about their split that follows prolonged speculation surrounding the state of their marriage. Konkona, 35 posted on her Twitter account saying “Ranvir and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son, Will appreciate your support, Thank You.” Ranvir’s statement read, “Konkona and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son, Will appreciate your support, Thank You.” The Bollywood duo have starred together in films like “Traffic Signal”, “Mixed Doubles”, “Aaja Nachle” and “Gour Hari Daastan.”
