Hrithik Roshan, who will be promoting Mohenjo Daro, has decided to stay away from Krushna Abhishek‘s show, Comedy Nights Bachao. Earlier it was reported that Hrithik has refused to promote his film on Colors’ Jhalak Dikhla Ja 9. It was because he was also being asked to appear on the channel’s roast comedy show Comedy Nights Bachao.
The ‘roast’ format of Colors’ Comedy Nights Bachao seems to have taken its toll on the show’s star-attendance. More and more A-list stars are reportedly staying away from Bharati Singh and Krushna Abhishek’s show where the guest is showered with insulting comments for laughter.
Well, the on-going war between Krushna Abhishek‘s Comedy Nights Bachao and Kapil Sharma‘s The Kapil Sharma Show is known to everyone. And now, the film actors too have taken sides this time. Well, the roast format doesn’t go well with the actors!
Earlier, during the promotion of the film, Housefull 3, Akshay Kumar had snapped at one of the show’s comedians for passing racist comments at Lisa Haydon. Since then, most Bollywood actors and filmmakers are refraining to promote their films on Comedy Nights Bachao.
Being a family entertainer, The Kapil Sharma Show is mostly being preferred by the A-list actors of the Bollywood industry.
Says a source close to Hrithik, “Hrithik will only be promoting his film on The Kapil Sharma Show. He had great fun promoting Krissh 3 on Kapil’s show. He has been asked to promote his show on Colors’ Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa and Comedy Nights Bachao. Hrithik has declined the kind offer” .
