Gurmeet Ram Rahim has become even more famous after he was sent to prison for 20 years for rape charges. After his imprisonment, the focus shifted on his adopted daughter Honeypreet. Honeypreet was believed to be the mastermind of the riots in Chandigarh and its surrounding areas.
Honeypreet was able to fool police forces and be on the run for quite some time. After living in hiding for too long, she was surrendered to police earlier this month. The police started its investigations after that directly.
After staying in police custody for too long, Honeypreet confessed and accepted all the allegations directed towards her. She confessed that she was the mastermind behind Panchkula riots that took several lives. After accepting all the allegations, police sent her to Ambala Jail till 23rd October. Now, it seems that Honeypreet had a very difficult first night in the prison, says the report.
According to the reports of a leading daily, Honeypreet has been put under high-security women cell. She was unable to sleep in the jail on the first night. Reportedly, she didn’t have her dinner either. Sources related to the report also says that she has requested to meet Ram Rahim as soon as she arrived in the jail. However, her request was rejected.
She did complain about the ill health and higher pulse rate, body ache, and migraine when a team of doctors was checking her. A team of three doctors from Ambala civil hospital checked Honeypreet for more than two hours. The doctors said that her condition was stable.
One of the doctors, Dr. Arpita Garg said, “She was completely healthy and her condition was stable. Her pulse rate might have increased due to stress.”
