Now, there is great news for all football lovers in the country. India is all set to host upcoming FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup slated to take place in 2020. Yes, you read it, right! India has bagged the rights to host the upcoming prestigious tournament.

The best benefit of this is that India will get a direct place in the upcoming tournament. This is the first time that India is participating in A U-17 Women’s World Cup. It is indeed a proud moment for the country.

After successfully hosting men’s version of the same tournament in 2017, India expressed its interest in hosting Women’s U-17 World Cup 2020.
India would hope to make its presence felt in the upcoming tournament, whereas defending champion Spain would like to retain the trophy once again.
