Here’s How Rohit Shetty Broke A Million Hearts!

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has made a heartbreaking revelation about his next project. According to earlier reports, the ‘Singham’ director was supposed to team up with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions for his next venture.

However, as he took stage for an event for World No Tobacco Day, Rohit Shetty announced that he would not be working on the remake of Subhash Ghai’s cult favorite ‘Ram Lakhan’! He instead announced that they are working on something else and the announcement for that will come next month.

Rohit confirmed, “We are not doing it (‘Ram Lakhan’ remake). Me and Karan are doing something else. Very soon, we’ll tell you what we are doing.” When asked about his next project, Rohit said, “Let them (audience) miss me a little more. Next month I will announce what I am doing for sure.”

Ever since the announcement of the 1989 blockbuster’s remake was made, speculations were rife about its casting! Earlier reports had also suggested that Ranveer Singh was also keen on playing Anil Kapoor’s character of Lakhan, as it was one of the films he had grown up watching and idolizing.

We will have to wait and watch if someone else will pick up the project or it will be shelved altogether!
