“I did when I used to be home during vacation. I remember I was present when he debuted in Ranchi district senior tournament where he hit five fours in one over. He played beautifully than at Mecon grounds. Even after that, I saw him play on a few occasions at local meets whenever I came home”
Lastly, Telegraph asked him whether he was ever into sports?
“Oh yes! I used to play football for JVM-Shyamali (DAV then). I represented DAV in many national school meets as well”
