Currently, the director of Aashiqui 2, Mohit Suri is busy working on Half Girlfriend, which stars Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. So, the film might get on the floor by the end of 2017. Interestingly, the film will be written by Alia Bhatt’s sister Shaheen Bhatt. Earlier it was believed that Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor will star in Aashiqui 3 but by the end of March 2016, it was clear that Sidharth and Alia are doing it.
In Aashiqui 3, Alia Bhatt will essay the role of a singer, which seems an interesting choice by the makers. Recently, Alia Bhatt was starred in Dear Zindagi, and now she will be seen in Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Dragon.
