Hera Pheri is still regarded as the best film franchise in Bollywood. It literally started the trends of film franchises. Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal made everyone laugh their hearts out even now. Ever since the release of Hera Pheri 2, fans have been eagerly waiting to see the third film in the franchise. Finally, there is a big news for all the fans, as Hera Pheri 3 is happening and we can’t get excited enough.
For past years, rumors and speculations about Hera Pheri 3 have been floating around. Back in 2015, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham were roped in to play Raju, whereas Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal would reprise their roles from the first film. However, Akshay Kumar confirmed that he’ll play Raju in 2018.
It was also reported that Indra Kumar will replace Priyadarshan as director. However, that has changed now, as producer Firoz Nadiadwala has convinced Priyadarshan to direct Hera Pheri 3.
According to the report of entertainment daily Mumbai Mirror, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal will reprise their roles from the previous films. However, there will be a time leap that’ll help them play their roles closer to their real ages. A source was quoted saying to entertainment daily, “It takes a time leap from where Phir Hera Pheri ended and fast-forwards into the present. The trip is going to be desperate again but in a completely different scenario.”
Director Priyadarshan has also confirmed being in talks with the producer for the film. However, he’ll only start working on Hera Pheri 3 after he wraps up his upcoming Malayalam film.
