Actor Siddharth Talks About the Films Inspired Real Life Stalking on Twitter

We are used to see the routine of male characters of wandering and relentlessly pursuing the female characters in our movies, till she decides to give in and be with him. For many years, it is a trend that our Indian film industry follows that the persistent male leads of our films don’t take no for an answer and try till the women doesn’t loses.

Our films have glorified stalking and for proof, you can see several films like Darr etc or the prominent example being the 2007 released movie Saawariya. The film industry has messed with the minds of the youth and influenced them somewhat to follow the same method of stalking like in the movies. Many people have weighed on the fact that the glorification of stalking should be stopped, but the industry continually maintained its silence on it.
