‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ Box Office Collection: It Has A Better Opening Than The Prequel
‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ hit the screens on 24th August. The cross-border comedy revolves around the plot of mistaken identity of two Happys. This is the sequel to ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ (2016). Mudassar Aziz has handled the comedy with so much conviction, giving it a rom-com flavour. It will be not wrong to say that Aziz has arrived with a bang after two years of gap.
Sonakshi Sinha and Jassie Gill are the new additions in the sequel. It is produced under the banners of Color Yellow Productions and Eros Now. It has the old star cast including Jimmy Sheirgill, Piyush Mishra, Diana Penty and Ali Fazal. 
Talking about the box office collection, the second part had a better opening on its first day. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the second Happy collected Rs 2.70 crores. The first Happy minted around Rs 2.32 crores on its first day.

The movie has received mixed reviews from the critics as well as audiences. Talking about the star cast, they are the strongest pillars of the film. To begin with, Jimmy Sheirgill and Piyush Mishra are just superb with their one-liners and satires. Sonakshi Sinha will surely surprise you with her comic timing and gusto. Jassie Gill, the debutant excels in his character of Khuswant Singh Gill. Every movie has its flaws and of course, there are gaping plot-holes and improbable incidents but smart dialogues and one-liners have saved the movie.
