Bollywood actress Lara Dutta is celebrating her Birthday today. Lara was born on 16 April 1978 in Ghaziabad city of Uttar Pradesh. She is one of the most beautiful actresses in the Bollywood Industry today.
She started her career as a model in the year 1995. Soon her struggle has paid well, as she turned out to win the Miss Universe Title for India in the year 2000. She forayed into Bollywood in the year 2003 with ‘Andaaz’, which also star Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The film went on to become a huge hit and that’s how her film career took a leap. She even won the Filmfare Best Debut Actress award for her first performance.
Soon after the success of ‘Andaaz’, Lara was also roped in Indra Kumar’ directorial movie ‘Masti’, which also stars Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani and Vivek Oberoi. The multi-starrer film has turned out to be a super-hit at the Box-office in 2004. The back to back hits for the actress has helped her to get many more movies in the coming years. Thereafter, Lara Dutta got some interesting roles in ‘Khakee’, ‘No Entry’, ‘Partner’ and Irrfan Khan Starrer ‘Billu Barber’.
