Talking about the competition with Bahubali 2, Half Girlfriend director said, “Anyone who says that they are just excited and not anxious and scared is lying. You cannot deny that Baahubali 2 is there and even Hindi Medium is releasing on the same day. You would want all the competition to be perfect for your film. But mainly I want the film to be liked. It’s a film with a big heart, rather than a big budget, so I think I am looking for that.”
Both the movies are facing a stiff competition with south film Bahubali 2. Till now Bahubali 2 has crossed 450 crores nett collection in three weeks. Now the Prabhas starrer movie is in the fourth week and surely gonna hurt the collections of other movies. In overseas market, Bahubali 2 has crossed 275 crores. In terms of worldwide collections, it has crossed the 1500 crores mark.
Overall, Half Girlfriend is the clear winner here beating Hindi Medium.
