Bollywood latest release Half Girlfriend has started on a good note at the Box Office. The film has performed extremely well and on the first day, it has collected over 10 crores on the silver screen.

The film was based on the novel of Chetan Bhagat, which talks about the story of Madhav Jha and Riya Somani. In the movie, the pivotal roles were being played by Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Their chemistry in the movie has been loved by both critics and audience.

The film was made on a mega-budget of 40 crores, 10 crores were being spent on the promotions. Due to the craze of the book, the film has met with a splendid response on the first day. The film received an audience occupancy of 25 to 30 percent on the first day in India. Half Girlfriend has got a screen count of 2500 in India.
