Protests for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat has been creating huge chaos across the country. It has reached such level that even school kids are not safe anymore. The protestor attacked a school bus of GD Goenka Scholl in Gurgaon, which has created huge outrage among the people.
The driver of the bus Pravesh Kumar showed his calm and intelligence during the attack by protestors. He asked everyone to take a cover under their seats. He calmly drove the bus to safety, says the report of PTI.
The driver has now come out and praised the principal of the GD Goenka School, who has lauded his quick thinking that saved many lives. The principal said, “He also warned other drivers and school management against using the Sohna road route, following which three buses travelling behind turned back,”
The school bus was carrying 24 students, five teachers and an attendant, which was attacked by a group of almost 60 activists. They started pelting rocks resulting in bus’s broken windows. Praising the driver, the principal of the school said, “When the stones were being pelted, he applied breaks for a second pretending to slow down, but immediately sped away,”
She further added that Kumar and the attendant told students and teacher to take cover under their seats when the stone was pelted. Kumar said to PTI, “It was a terrible experience as the students were scared and crying for help.”
He further added, “They did not even understand what happened initially. But I asked them to keep calm and take cover under their seats while the window panes were being shattered. They did well though,”
