BOMBAY VELVET
Bombay Velvet is completely shot in Sri Lanka where a huge set was created that looks similar to the Bombay of the 60s. Not only this, even locals of Sri Lanka were cast in the film to get the authentic cosmopolitan feel of Mumbai five decades ago. This high budget set of bombay velvet’s retro look was talk of town but, Unfortunately film didn’t do well at box office.
