2017 is coming to an end, which also means Award season is going to start in Bollywood. It is a well known fact that Award shows in the country are fake. Top actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor and much more have hinted towards the same.
However, in last few years, the Bollywood award shows have lost all its credibility. Time and again stars have talked about it.
2017 has not been a good year for Bollywood, as many big films bombed at the box office. However, films like Golmaal Again and Judwaa 2 did wonders at the box office and earned lots of money. There are films like Newton and Lipstick Under My Burkha failed to earn big but received lots of critical appreciation. These films won many reorganizations at several film festivals abroad.
You may wonder why we are talking about it all of a sudden. Let’s come to the topic. Zee Cine Awards was held recently, which saw several big Bollywood celebs gracing the event. However, the real shocker came when Golmaal Again won the award for Best Film. Twitter is unable to digest the news and went berserk. People are not ready to believe that Golmaal Again won Best Films over Newton and Hindi Medium.
