During one of the shoots of the serial Ghulaam, Vikkas Manaktala accidentally hurt his co-star Sareeka Dhillon with a saw. They were rehearsing for a particular scene where he was supposed to hit her with a saw and unfortunately it hurt her badly. She got bruises on her face and rushed to the hospital when she started bleeding.
When asked about the incident, Sareeka said, “Vikkas and I, we both were rehearsing for the scene where he had to hit me with a saw. Unfortunately when he lifted the saw its end point hit my face and there was blood all over. The production house and my co-actors rushed me to the hospital and the doctor has advised me to not shoot for three to four days as I cannot use makeup. But, the scenes are such that the makers can’t avoid my scenes so they have incorporated me getting hurt in the show as well. But, Ghulaam is my priority. Hence, I am continuing to shoot. I don’t want the show to suffer in any way because of me.”
Earlier, Param Singh, Sareeka’s co-star was also hospitalised after he suffered a severe hand injury while shooting for an action scene.
Hats off to the lady that in spite of getting hurt she is so dedicated to her work. We wish Sareeka recovers soon.
