Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s ashes were immersed in Ganga in Patna by his family members on Thursday. His father KK Singh and sister Shweta Singh bid him a final bye with tears in eyes.
The rest of the rituals will be done at his residence in Patna. Sushant committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his Bandra house in Mumbai on June 14.

His sister Shweta shared an emotional post on her Facebook account. She said, “Your twinkling eyes taught the world how to dream, ur innocent smile revealed the true purity of ur heart. you will always be loved mera Baby and so so much moreâŠ. Wherever ur mera baby stay happyâŠ.stay fulfilled and know that everyone loved, loves u and will always love you unconditionally.â
Sushantâs last rites were performed at the Pawan Hans crematorium on June 15. Sushantâs post-mortem revealed that the cause of death was asphyxiation. Police are probing Sushantâs death and the angle of âprofessional rivalryâ.
Several biggies in Bollywood have been blamed for boycotting Sushant and it became a reason for his depression. An advocate has also filed a criminal complaint at Muzaffarpur court in Bihar against 8 people including Salman Khan, Karan Johar, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali for considering Sushant an outsider and boycotting him.
