Filmmaker Arnab Chatterjee Launches ACjee Entertainment in Bollywood with Debut Film Murdabaad

 

A Young Visionary’s Bold Entry into Bollywood
At just 24 years old, filmmaker Arnab Chatterjee is taking a significant leap into Bollywood with the launch of ACjee Entertainment Private Limited and his debut Hindi film, Murdabaad. Based in Mumbai, ACjee Entertainment marks a new milestone in Arnab’s journey, which began over a decade ago with his passion for storytelling and filmmaking.

The Journey of ACjee Entertainment
Originally established as ACjee Productions in 2013, Arnab started his filmmaking career as a teenager in Kolkata, producing short films. Over the years, his dedication to the craft led to noteworthy projects such as Unsaid (2016), an indie feature film that received acclaim at global film festivals, and Jonmodin (2021), a Bengali short film featuring the legendary Soumitra Chatterjee.

With this solid foundation, Arnab is now stepping into Bollywood with his production house’s first full-fledged project, Murdabaad.

Murdabaad, a romantic suspense drama, is written, directed, and produced by Arnab himself. The film stars Nakul Roshan Sahdev (Gully Boy), Kanikka Kapur, Sharib Hashmi, Manish Prakash Chaudhari, and Saloni Batra (Animal).

The story revolves around a tour guide in Rajasthan who falls in love with an NRI tourist, only to face unexpected twists that turn their journey into a gripping thriller. The unique combination of romance and crime promises to deliver a fresh and captivating cinematic experience.
