We heard that the response of the movie isn’t that great and that’s what lead the sponsors to pull out the hands. The tickets were priced at $35, $55, $75, $100 and $300 but still the audience weren’t taking much interest in the show. Maybe that’s the reason the sponsors were worry and eventually the show was cancelled!
On the other hand, the distribution partner Eros International said, “It was a strategic decision so that Magik can plan more shows in India. A 12 – city India tour is being planned now.”
Overall, this news is a complete setback to the fans but maybe saved the makers from one of the biggest loss. Directed by Shujaat Saudagar, the film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli and Shashank Arora. The film is all set to hit the theatres on November 11.
