Farhan Akhtar Shares His Thoughts On Petrol Price Hike!
Farhan Akhtar is one of the few Bollywood celebrities, who never shy away from sharing his views on several social issues going in the country. He is also avid supporter of MARD initiative that fights against the gender discrimination and inequality. Now, he has shared his thoughts on the most burning topics of the country, petrol price hike. Petrol price hike has been one of the most concern situations in the country. As of now, petrol price in the country is at an all-time high.
Several celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar have been criticized for not talking about this issue. However, Farhan is not among them, he knows what’s wrong and when to voice his opinion. He also expressed his thoughts on how fuel price can be reduced.
Talking about petrol price hike, Farhan tweeted,
“₹84 per litre mubarak to you and your loved ones. Actual cost I believe is ₹31, based on info i could find online (do correct me if I’m wrong, happy to learn) .. the rest are central & state taxes, cess & commissions. Just so you know that the price can be brought down.”

On the professional front, Farhan Akhtar is all set for the release of his production venture Gold starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Directed by Reema Kagti, the movie is set against the backdrop of independent India and tells the story of a first gold medal in Hockey at Olympics for independent India. Gold is slated to release on 15th August 2018.
On acting front, Farhan was expected to star in two films, but he has opted out from both of them. He is yet to announce any films as director and actor. Currently, he is busy with his concerts.
