After dating for 6 long years, Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Italyâs Lake Como on November 14 and 15 in two different ceremonies â a traditional Sindhi style wedding and as per Konkani rituals . They touched down in Mumbai on November 17. After throwing lavish wedding reception in Bengaluru, couple hosted another wedding reception in Mumbai on Wednesday for close family members and media persons. This reception is organized by Ranveerâs sister, Ritika Bhavnani at Grand Hyatt.
The newly weds shared the first glimpse of them on their respective social media account. Deepika was spotted wearing an outfit by designer duo Abu Jaani and Sandeep Khosla. Ranveer, meanwhile, is wearing Rohit Bal – an ivory and gold embroidered sherwani with wide-legged trousers.

Recently Ranveer Singh gave his first interview after his wedding with Deepika Padukone. In conversation with Filmfare, actor shared that he was always ready for this marriage for quite some time now and was only waiting for Deepika’s YES YES YES. Actor also shared that after dating Deepika for 6 months, he knew that she’ll be the woman he will marry.
Ranveer Singh was quoted as saying, âI donât think about these things. Iâm lucky to have her. I knew all too well that this is the woman Iâm going to marry. This is the woman who would become the mother of my children. Iâve been thinking about marriage seriously for almost three years now. I was just waiting, I told her the minute you say so, weâll do it.â
