Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who have been painting the town red with their newly bud love story, recently, celebrated Christmas with their loved ones, away from each other! Although their families seem to have accepted the duo’s relationship, here’s why the duo choose to celebrate Christmas with their families and not each other!

The Kapoors are known to have their annual Christmas lunch each year, without a break! This year as well, the Kapoor clan had gathered for their legacy continued lunch since these many years! Although it was earlier known that Ranbir Kapoor shall not be getting the Christmas vacation due to his Shamshera shoot schedule with Vani Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor managed to take a day’s break to enjoy the tradition family lunch! On the other hand, Alia Bhatt skipped all the Christmas parties in B-town to be at home and ring in the festive with her mom, dad and sister!

So although Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt didn’t get to ring in Christmas together despite being in the same city but the sweethearts did ensure to make their families happy. But of course, that’s a different thing if the two stole a moment from the celebrations and met later in the day. There are speculations that the duo might get married the coming year!
