On April 5th 2018, Salman Khan was sentenced 5 years jail in blackbuck poaching case which took place back in 1998 while filming Hum Saath Saath Hain in a village near to Jodhpur. Salman’s co-actors from the film Hum Saath Saath Hain– Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Saif Ali Khan and Neelam were acquitted due to lack of evidence. After spending two nights in jail, court accepted Salman’s bail plea. Last night actor returned Mumbai where his fans game him a warm welcome by bursting crackers.
A piece of report related to this case states that it was Tabu who provoked Salman to kill the blackbuck. The eyewitness of the case told the leading news channel that Salman Khan was provoked by Tabu to pull the trigger.

Earlier in a interview with India Today, Salman claimed that that it was not him who shot the blackbuck. He was quoted saying, “I was not the one who shot.” This sounds like Salman know who actually shot the blackbuck but don’t wanna reveal the name. As of for now Salman is at home but court asked Salman not to eave the country without court’s permission. The next hearing will take place of 7th of May.
