Indian Cricket Team captain Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married in a private ceremony in Milan, Italy, today. The ceremony was attended by close friends and families of both of them. Popular fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee designed the wedding dress of Virat and Anushka, the couple was looking astonishingly beautiful. The wedding was performed as per Hindu rituals by family pandit. The adorable couple will throw a lavish reception at a suburban hotel in Mumbai. Many big names from Bollywood and Cricket are going to attend the event.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma issued a joint statement, which reads, “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share this wonderful news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans and well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.”
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma will host a reception in New Delhi on 21st December for their relatives and a reception in Mumbai on 26th December, which will be attended by friends from Bollywood and Cricket.

Anushka Sharma will accompany Virat Kohli to South Africa, where India is about to play a long series. Anushka will celebrate New Year with him and return to India in the first week of January next year. She will start shooting of Anand L. Rai’s next featuring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead roles. Anushka will start shooting for ‘Sui Dhaaga’ featuring Varun Dhawan in February.
Virat and Anushka will be shifting to their home in Worli, Mumbai in December after they return from Delhi.
