Exclusive Karishma Tanna on entering Bigg Boss
Karishma Tanna doesn’t know how she will cope with the unpredictable goings-on inside Bigg Boss house. But cope, she will.
“I was offered Bigg Boss every season. But I always said no, because I felt it wasn’t my scene. Every contestant in there is expected to put on a mask. I can’t do it.”
Curiously, Karishma goes into Bigg Boss at a time when her movie career is taking off.
Says the spirited actress, “Yes, it’s true after Grand Masti I’ve just completed Tina & Lolo. And I’ve another film with Viacom 18. But this is the right time for me to do Bigg Boss. Because it gives me visibility. Also, since my third film is with Viacom (the parent company for the channel Colors) my publicity dates for the film will be coordinated so as to not clash with my innings in Bigg Boss.”
Karishma Tanna says she is petrified of what lies ahead at Bigg Boss. “I don’t have a strategy. You can’t plan any strategy until you are in the middle of it. I am freaking out with nervousness and anxiety. My biggest fear is the loss of my personal space. When you’re inside Bigg Boss you have absolutely no privacy. That thought is freaking me out. Secondly the food is severely rationed in there. I eat every two hours. Even fruits are rationed. Plus I am on a diet to look my best for my movies. So I don’t know how I’ll cope. I hope I don’t come out royally jacked.”
