She responded, “Yaa, nazar,” highlighting the cultural belief of warding off bad luck by maintaining privacy. She further elaborated that, as an actress, much attention is often directed toward her personal life rather than her work and legacy. Sonakshi emphasized that certain aspects of her life, especially those that are precious, should remain private, stating, “You’re already so much in the limelight; everybody knows everything about you. Something that is so dear to you should be kept for yourself.”

The couple had a quiet, registered marriage at home, surrounded by their closest friends and family. They shared the joyous news on Instagram, posting beautiful photos from the ceremony.
