Dilip Kumar discharged from the city hospital
Veteran actor Dilip Kumar, who was admitted in the hospital, was finally discharged today. He was in the Lilavati hospital for nearly a week due to respiratory problems, high fever, and chest infection. Dilip Kumar was wheeled out of the hospital along with his wife Saira Banu at nearly 11.55 am.
A Humongous crowd was gathered around the hospital to just take a look of the thespian. Even Saira Banu showed her gratitude by thanking to the millions of his fans. It was earlier planned by the doctors to discharge him by yesterday evening but later decided to discharge him in morning owing to the comfort of the star.
Dr. Jalil Parker of Lilavati Hospital, told the media yesterday, “Dilip Kumar is doing well and he is healthy. His reports are normal. We have decided to discharge him tomorrow morning as opposed to today keeping in mind the patient’s comfort.”
Bollywood actor Aamir Khan even visited the hospital at last night and wishes him for his good health. Nearly every star showed their affections on Social media for his good health.

Dilip Kumar has worked in the film industry for a period of six decades and worked in some of the most memorable films of all time. He started his career with 1944 film ‘Jwar Bhata’ and went on to star in ‘Aan’, ‘Aazad’, ‘Deedar’, ‘Devdas’, ‘Madhumati’, ‘Ganga Jamuna’, ‘Ram aur Shyam’, ‘Kranti’ and many more. He was last seen on the Silver screen in the 1998 film ‘Qila’.
Dilip Kumar has awarded with many awards in his filmy career which include the Padma Vibhushan in 2015, Padma Bhushan in 1991 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994. He shares a unique record with Shah Rukh Khan for the most wins – eight – in Filmfare Best Actor. Dilip Kumar also received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement award in 1993.
