Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar starrer movie ‘Dhadak’ is the most awaited movie of the year. This is Jhanvi’s debut movie and she has been prepping for her role for a long time. Jhanvi and Ishaan’s pairing was the choice of Karan Johar and today the trailer of Dhadak has released. Janhvi and Ishaan look fresh as well as nervous at the trailer launch. Though Ishaan has appeared in Majid Majidi’s movie ‘Beyond The Clouds’, ‘Dhadak’ has earned him more recognition.
Talking about Dhadak, it is an adaptation of worldwide popular Marathi epic movie ‘Sairat’ directed by Nagraj Manjule. It was an epic love story of two youngsters Archi and Parshya. Though it was a fresh pairing their performances were also endearing. The plot, storytelling, opening, conclusion-everything was just mindblowing.
At the trailer launch when Janhvi was asked about the adaptation of her role from Archi, she said, ‘The role of Rinku Rajguru as Archi cannot be replaced by anyone. But my role of Parthavi is totally different from Archi and I have always tried my best to get into the skin of my character. Shashank has helped me a lot and we did a lot of readings and worked hard on it.”
